Bantams and Juniors 2010 Schedule
 
 
On Friday August 13, 2010  Juniors will be going to the Catskill Hoe Bowl for our final field trip of the summer. The cost of this trip is $7.00 per child. Childrenwill need to be dropped off at 9:00 am and picked up at 12:00 pm promptly at the Hoe Bowl. The Palenville bus and the Community Center bus will be running normally.

If your child owns a pair of shoees with white or light colored soles, he/she may wear them bowling. An afternoon snack will NOT be provided for the group, so feel free to send your child with extra money for the snack bar or video games. Your child will be responsible for his/her own money. The counselors will not be responsible for holding money or watching how it is spent.

 
 
Please fill out and send back the permission slip and money by Thursday August 12, 2010. Juniors and Bantams cannot be on the same permission slip.

This will be our last day of recreation. We hope your child enjoyed the summer and we look forard to seeing you again next year!

The Catskill Community Center’s Summer Recreation Program will run concurrently with Summer Fun for six weeks, July 6 – August 13, 2010 from 9 AM - 12 PM.  The program is open to children ages 4 yrs through the 8th grade.  (Youngest children must turn 4 by July 6, 2010.)  The following programs will be available:

  • 4 years old & entering Kindergarten (Tiny Tots)
  • 1st -2nd grades* (Bantams)
  • 3rd, 4th & 5th grades* (Juniors)
  • 6th, 7th & 8th grades* (Seniors)  *Note, children must be entering those grades listed.   

 

General Program Info for Summer Rec:  The children participate in arts & crafts, sports, and a weekly field trip.  The Bantams through Seniors will receive swimming lessons.  Transportation will be provided for children who reside in the Palenville area (10 or more children need to request transportation).  There will also be transportation available from the school to the Community Center for the Summer Fun Program.   

Program Fees

  • NO CHARGE for children participating in the Summer Rec programming, however space is limited

There is only a one-time enrollment/registration donation as follows:

  • $25 per child (ONE TIME)
  • Maximum $50 per family
