After School Art Program

 

When:  Wednesday afternoons

(February 3rd, 10th, 17^th, and 24^th, 2010)

4:00 – 4:30 PM ( Students in grades 3 – 5 ) 

4:30 – 5:00 PM ( Students in grades 6 – 8 )

Grab your pencil and sketch pad as we go back in time to explore the life of Thomas Cole.  We will be able to touch cool things that are 150 years old, draw using methods that have been around for centuries.  Can you imagine walking through a painting by Thomas Cole?  You will be able to write your own poetry inspired by the landscape.  So come on and have some fun with us.
