Parenting Classes

Common Sense Parenting

Greene County Mental Health is happy to offer Common Sense Parenting a program developed by Girls and Boys Town and funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health.

Parenting means balancing nurturing and showing love and affection with the discipline all children need to learn and thrive.  Common Sense Paretning shows you how discipline can be more teaching than punishment, more positive than negative for both you and your child.

You are invited to join us.  Classes are FREE and meet weekly for seven weeks.  Each class lasts two hours.  To get the most out of the program, you should plan on attending all of the classes.  This class is only appropriate for parents of children 4 to 17 years old.

Spring classes have concluded.   Please call (518) 622-9163 for more information about upcoming dates.
