Parenting Classes
Common Sense Parenting
Greene County Mental Health is happy to offer Common Sense Parenting a program developed by Girls and Boys Town and funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health.
Parenting means balancing nurturing and showing love and affection with the discipline all children need to learn and thrive. Common Sense Paretning shows you how discipline can be more teaching than punishment, more positive than negative for both you and your child.
Parenting Class
The Catskill Community Center and Cornell Cooperative Extension would like to offer a 4 – 6 week parenting class for both parents and/or guardians at no cost. We are asking you to let us know what day and time is best as well as what topics you would like to discuss. Some topics for discussion include: Child Development, Effective Discipline, Parent/Child Interaction, Communication Skills, and Home Safety.
